Lately, a few retail shops have caught my eye in my daily Pinterest feed. My true love/soul sister of retail interiors resides at ten thirty five Madison Avenue in Manhattan at J.Crew! Does anyone else envision their dream home as these beautifully curated and thoughtful spaces that just so happen to be shops? I have folders filled with images (pre-Pinterest) of dream home status inspirations. J.crew has it's own folder filled with personal photographs I've taken over the years (yes that was me snapping an iPhone pic of the doorknob.)
Perhaps my more recent discoveries will get their own folder someday. Here's what I've been obsessing over!
CLUB MONACO FLASGSHIP - MANHATTAN

Club Monaco looks absolutely stunning. I appreciate all the detail and thought that went into the design. The mouldings, ceilings, light fixtures,- it all just works. The soft and neutral backdrop allows for the products to basically sell themselves- they don't compete with anything, they look like they belong there. I wouldn't mind my dressing room, library, sitting room, or stairwell looking like this!
ANN MASHBURN - ATLANTA
Ann Mashburn in one word- flawless. The pink is subtlety feminine and crisp among the stark but not cold surroundings. The space is clean and gallery-like with the shoes, bags, and clothing as art forms themselves. I love the marble till area, Saarinen table, and brass accents. When can I move in? Thanks!
MARCH - SAN FRANCISCO

Ahh, March! I remember the day I stumbled upon it via Remodelista a few years back. I scoured the web all over for a glimpse of what the inside of March looked like- basically my dream kitchen filled with utilitarian pieces, functional islands, and the most beautifully appointed pantry. They now have an online shop which I frequently swoon over. One day their goodies will fill my kitchen. ONE DAY!
CAPITOL - CHARLOTTE
Oh Queen City how you. get. me. every. time! Seriously Capitol gives SoHo a run for its money. When I lived here, I didn't ever stop in (how did I not know about it?!) Mistake. I'm making a beeline for it the moment in get to Charlotte next month. The windows, the living wall, Balenciaga, Givenchy, Celine, the list goes on. The vibe is globe trotter meets glam girl vastly inspired by the proprietress Laura Vinroot Poole (pictured above.) Capitol is the go-to for fabulous women of the South and one day, me too!
So there you have it, my Shop Crushes. I hope they inspire you, your interiors, your wardrobe, and your life!
