St. Germain & Grapefruit Mimosas

St. Germain & grapefruit mimosa recipe. Perfect for your next brunch! - Leigh Clair

An abundance of lavender from the garden, brunch on the books, and plain ol' OJ not cutting it gave me the inspiration for these bad boys. Beautiful and equally delicious- it's a crowd pleaser for sure. And everyone who drinks one will instantly be intrigued by the slightly sweet but tart and delicate floral flavor these have to offer.  And then they will want another ;)

If you don't have St. Germain in your repertoire, I highly suggest heading to the store to grab some. It's a bit pricy but the flavor simply cannot be replicated- it's truly unique! In case you haven't heard of it (I hadn't) St. Germain is an elderflower liquor and total game changer.  It might just be your new favorite thing. Plus the bottle is gorgeous...

If you want to impress your friends and up that brunch game of yours with these festive and seriously simple drinks, check out the recipe below!

A new twist on brunch cocktails. St. Germain & Grapefruit Lavender Mimosas

st. germain & grapefruit mimosa

prosecco (we love cupcake brand!)

good quality store bought grapefruit juice or freshly squeezed

st. germain

lavender sprigs for garnish

directions (for one drink)

measure the following into a champagne flute:

1 oz. grapefruit juice

1 oz. st. germain

4 oz. prosecco

take a sprig of lavender, clap it gently and place in each flute

You can make the drinks individually or easily whip up a batch for a crowd by making a mixture of equal parts grapefruit juice and St. Germain. Set aside then add 2 oz. to each glass and top with bubbly (about 4 oz.) and finish with the lavender sprig. Voila!

Can't wait to make these mimosas again!
