Function, meet fashion- in the form of Ringly: a bluetooth device that let's you stay in touch without having your phone on hand 24/7. This subtle yet oh-so-sophisticated ring will revolutionize women's lives and yeah, you'll probably receive tons of compliments on it, too.
As much as I love having my phone by my side at all times, I do from time to time leave it unattended. When I'm trying to relax or when I'm out to lunch with someone, I keep my phone out of sight so I can focus on what's important. I cringe when I have to check to see if someone called or texted- hoping whomever I'm with doesn't mind terribly. Keyword: manners. What better way to stay connected than going incognito?!
When I saw this ring, I didn't take it for much more than "oh how beautiful! I like that." Deceptive, eh? When I found out what it was capable of, well, I knew I had to have one. Precious and semi-precious stones set in 18k matte yellow gold that alert you with 4 vibrations and 5 color notification settings you can filter and customize. All you need to do is download the app and connect your Ringly and get to wearing it!
Uber, text message, incoming phone calls, remiders, etc. Everything is nicely integrated and not a soul will know you've been informed: "your car is here, Kira." or "Mr. Wonderful just texted." Finally a wearable for the modern day woman! LOVE.
Seriously, how gorgeous are these Ring(ly)s?!
Ringly is available for pre-order in four beautiful stone options. I'm really keen on the Emerald (which is now sold out, le sigh...) Now I can't decide between the Pink Sapphire (my signature lilac-y shade) or Rainbow Moonstone (it'd go with everything!) There's even a ring box that discreetly charges your Ringly ring. Genius.
Early supporters can snatch it for $145 and (literally) get your hands on it come Fall. I've dropped many a hint to Mr. Wonderful that I die (in the Rachel Zoe definition of I die!) for one. Hmmm, anniversary gift...? Maybe...? ;)
What do you guys think? I love where technology is going. Wearables are the future. And how refreshing it is to see a tech company that caters to ladies who want to be connected but discreet and ever so chic about it! You can read more about Ringly here and prepare to be amazed with its potential.
