I'm mildly embarrassed that it took me a regional move to discover the ever so charming jewelry brand that is Kendra Scott. Living under a rock? Why yes, yes I was. Then, once upon a (recent) time I found myself at Kendra Scott Southpark and life was forever changed. Of course you probably know all about Kendra's designs and concept, I need not explain any further...
I stopped in during my birth month to take advantage of their birthday special- 50% off one item of your choice- heck yes! (Check with them on Facebook to see which day of the month this promo takes place on.) While waiting at check out, I decided to drop my business card in their bowl, something I rarely do. I never win anything and I didn't even know what the potential lucky draw even meant. Until I received an email from the KS Southpark Events Coordinator sharing with me I had won a "Color Bar Party" for me and a group of friends!
So we set a date, I invited some friends and we sipped on wine, nibbled on cheese, and took our turns designing our jewelry. It was so neat to see just how many different combinations of stones and metals you could create. Mind blown. Everyone created something different and tailored to their style. While I love the pre-designed color and metal combos (what I usually opt for) if you had a special event or outfit where you truly wanted to make a statement, why not design something uniquely you? Something that no one has! And luckily, you can always design your own pieces in store or online. Fair warning, you could get lost for hours doing this ;)
That night I also learned from the lovely Events Coordinator at KS Southpark, Carrie, that you can arrange these parties for you and a group of friends- you need not drop your card in their bowl and hope to win! Carrie also told me how involved Kendra Scott stores are with charities both local and national. Shopping for a cause is something we can all get behind, right? Especially when beautiful jewelry is involved.
Here are a few snaps from the evening. I was very busy (aka indecisive) trying to figure out which earrings I wanted, hence the lack of photos. But talk about some good dream closet inspo here! Would love to store my jewelry like they do... in sleek white drawers with beautiful pulls, surrounded by mirrors and fancy occasional tables. Oh and that chandelier. Love this space in the mall because I don't feel like I'm in the mall one bit. Bravo KS, bravo!
If you haven't been to the shop, be sure to check it out! And drop that card of yours in the bowl at the cash register. To host your own event at Kendra Scott Southpark, give the ladies there a call- they are more than happy to help you plan the perfect event. And the best way to stay in the know is to follow them on Facebook- can't miss your birthday month promo, now. The best excuse to buy yourself something, if you ask me!
Thanks Kendra Scott Southpark for a fun evening!
