Greetings from sunny Florida. In honor of our trip here, where else would LC feature this round of House Huntress?
Florida, of course! This place is enough to sign me up on the We're moving to Florida bandwagon! Seriously, I told Mr. Wonderful. He gladly obliged, Florida boy that he is.
Okay, so we're not really moving to Florida anytime soon. I never say never, though. But here's why I'm ready to move into this place: it's DROP DEAD GORGEOUS. This home is so thoughtful and well planned out. The indoor space flows perfectly to the outdoors- it seems there is no boundary between them. It's pretty dreamy.
What's more to love... All white everything? Check. That's enough for me, but in case you needed more convincing, it's a short walk to the beach (it's on a lake actually- how Florida is that?) Has an amazing pool- wait till you see it. A beautiful breezeway- I have a thing for breezeways. And a killer master suite with an outdoor fireplace- très romantique.
The floor plan is OOC and husband approved (he's the king of floor plans, btw) and overall, it's just neutral and minimal and PERFECT. I'm getting a beachy meets Grecian vibe with the home's lovely use of white, slipcovers, and landscaping. Oh and one word: columns (you'll see!)
3485 North Savannah Place is definitely a place I could see myself relaxing and retreating to... Won't you join me?
I'm a sucker for symmetry. I just love the doors and windows! And the palm trees.
Uh, yeah... that's what I'm talking about- COLUMNS...
This place even has my beloved banquette. You know how much I love those....
Check out the hidden spice storage behind the cooktop! Must pin immediately to the dream house board!
And a pop of my favorite color- you shouldn't have!
Sunny, bright, light, airy? Yep. Outdoor space to die for? Check. Beautiful Floridian vistas? Uh-huh. This house strikes a chord with me because it's well-balanced in so many ways: traditional but has clean lines, white but not cold, and exquisite but not overly flashy. I'd say it's pretty perfect.
Maybe I won't be headed back to New York after all... ;)
