Confession: I've never been to Turkey but I've learned more about it over the last few years. I came across this beautiful hotel in Istanbul during a little research into a Turkish vacation. Why? Because the exchange rate is pretty outstanding right now- 1 US Dollar can get you 2.3 Turkish Lira. That's a pretty good deal, no?
There are lots of fantastic hotels in Istanbul, but The House Hotel Bosphorus is where I'd love to stay. Istanbul is the crossroads of so many things- where old meets new, where Europe meets Asia, and where rich history meets modern day city. The House Hotel sits right on the Bosphorus Straight and its views are breathtaking. This place is mid-century luxe with nods to some classic design elements (that intricate moulding, the caning on the chairs and headboard, the use of marble.) I love the touches of gold among the creamy white walls and warm wood tones. BTW, aren't those geometric floors neat?
I wouldn't mind a stay here!
