We are quite lucky to have a hidden gem in our area called Stonecrop. For the weekend of our anniversary, we visited for the first time. We asked each other "Why have we not been here yet?!" We share a love for flowers and gardens and Stonecrop did not disappoint! There are so many areas here to explore and the grounds are simply breathtaking. August is prime DAHLIA season- one of our favorites. We packed a few treats and enjoyed them in the Conservatory which sits on a pond. Their resident pup Cholmondeley (a cairn terrier like ours!) is there to greet visitors as are the staff who were so helpful and kind. Garden enthusiast or not, Stonecrop is worth a visit. I can't wait to return in March when they open for the season.
