The Guggenheim

This Sunday I finally made it to the Guggenheim. Christopher Wool was on view- very urban, graphic, and abstract. I think I liked it more than husband. Wool's work was very thought provoking both in positive and negative ways. Some pieces were happy, some sad, some crazy, some dark. A mixed bag, for sure. What is art if it can't get a reaction? Later we wandered to Dean and DeLuca to browse. I decided that if I could only shop at one store, this was it. At one point in time I wanted a Dean and DeLuca inspired wedding. Yeah, talk about devotion. We then headed south for dinner and drinks and then home for the night just in time for Downton Abbey.
